Urbanology: Emotionally Healthy Advocacy

When you take a look around at the world around you, the needs can feel overwhelming. The endless hurt, the injustices rampant, and the insufficiency resources stare right back at you. And often when you step into brokenness, we discover our own searching for significance and belonging. As activist how can we maintain our inner resources and outer activism that we are called to? How can we respond to pain and suffering of those in the world? How do we maintain joy and delight and not merely reacting to all that is happening? How do we become people marked by sustainability and prayerful resistance, and not just passionate and active? Join us as we welcome Jonathan Walton to speak at Urbanology on how we become emotionally healthy in our activism.
