READING Genesis 1:1-2, 26-31

In John 1, John tells us that in the beginning was the Word, and the Word became flesh and made His dwelling among us. That same Word was the Word spoken long ago to spark all things into existence. And somehow, even with all that power and creativity, God chose make us in His own image. His love for us was beyond comprehension even before He made us. Though all of creation speaks of His glory, only we reflect His very image. What can we do in the next few weeks to be better bearers of His image?

So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created themAnd God saw everything that he had made, and behold, it was very good.
