End-of-Year/Beginning-of Year
Prayer & Reflection Exercise

As the calendar turns from one year to another,  it's a great time to slow down, pause, and reflect.
In doing so, we can give thanks for the victories and graces of the past year while inviting God’s grace to help us grow in the new year in areas of struggle.

Consider taking a walk or finding a quiet place where you can be for 45 to 60 Minutes without distractions.  Consider music that can help you stay more focused on the reflections at hand. Consider grabbing a piece of paper or a journal and a pen to write out your thoughts.

Begin by reflecting on your life this past year in the following areas:

MY SPIRITUAL LIFE  -

MY TALENTS/GIFTS-

MY FINANCIAL LIFE -

MY RELATIONSHIPS -

MY PHYSICAL HEALTH -

My EMOTIONAL LIFE -

Take some time to consider some wins or bright spots from the year that was in each of these areas.
Take time to thank God for help - in whatever form in which it arrived.

Next, let's take some time to consider the current state of these areas through the final quarter of the year. Work back through the list - using an arrow to describe the direction you think this area of your life is headed (as of today or recently)

Now, let’s take some time to consider specific ways in which these areas could be intentionally invested in in 2026. Rather than being overwhelmed by the options, consider 1 or 2 items from the list below for each area if you need a prompt or starting point.
