This summer, students going into 9th grade through graduated seniors are invited to join us for a fun week of worship, challenge, and time away at Christ in Youth’s MOVE Camp.

WHAT IS MOVE?

MOVE is a five-day summer event specifically designed for high school students. It is intentionally crafted in ways that will engage and challenge high school students through tactile, interactive, and fun activities coupled with Bible-based teaching and small group interaction. MOVE is put on by an organization called Christ In Youth (CIY), which has been creating conferences for thousands of teens all over the country for over 50 years.  For more information, check out ciy.com/move

WHEN IS MOVE?

This year, The Foundry will take high school students to MOVE from July 20-24. We will leave on Monday around lunchtime and return on Friday evening.

WHERE IS MOVE?

MIX takes place at Salisbury University on the Eastern Shore. Students will stay on campus in the school’s dorms.  Dorms are separated by gender, and students will share a room with 1-2 other students from our group.  Most meals will be provided on campus through the school cafeteria.  We will travel to and from camp together.

WHAT DOES MOVE COST?

MOVE costs $450 per student.  This covers the cost of food, lodging, transportation, an afternoon at the beach, and admission to the event.  Additionally, your student will need funds for two fast-food meals and for any snacks or souvenirs they may want to purchase. There is a coffee shop on campus that students often like to frequent.

WHO IS GOING? 

The Foundry will send at least one adult leader per gender to MOVE.  Additional leaders will be added based on group size.  All leaders are background-checked prior to the event. If you would like to be a group leader and go with us, please email Lindsay Ferguson, to discuss.

HOW DO I SIGN UP?

To register your student for MOVE, please click the “register now button” to submit a registration form and $100 deposit. Final payments must be paid before we leave for MOVE on July 20th.
